TED is a nonprofit organization devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. It started out 30 years ago, as a conference bringing together people from three worlds: Technology, Entertainment and Design. Since then, its scope has become even broader, including a diverse mix of topics.
In 2014, the first TEDx event of the island of Crete was held in Heraklion, Cretaquarium.
