TRON Project has been working on open architecture for real-time embedded systems since its inception in 1984. It is not a project simply for real-time OS, but has become a project which creates total architecture which realizes the IoT (Internet of Things) and next generation social infrastructure based on ICT. Nevertheless, the project still has the same concept of “Open Architecture” cultivated over the years since the start of the project.
FORTH-ICS participated in TRON Symposium 2016, presenting the iEat: An interactive restaurant table.
