Flying Santa is a game where children have to keep Santa’s sleigh flying so that the gifts can be delivered through the city’s chimneys. In order to guide the sleigh, children use a hand operated air pump, driving the sleigh through the sky. The sleigh must approach the chimneys in order to deliver as many gifts as possible, while at the same avoiding the witches that threaten to bring it crashing down. The system was designed and developed within the framework of ICS-FORTH’s participation in the annual Christmas Castle celebrations, the focus of holiday celebrations in the City of Heraklion.
