Traditional Musical Instruments

An interactive installation consisting of three display cases with physical exhibits of various sizes, allowing users to interact with them remotely.

An interactive installation of glass showcases that incorporate physical exhibits of small or large size, allowing users to interact with them remotely. In three (3) specially designed showcases, the exhibits are presented as physical objects with the ability to rotate, accompanied by digital multimedia content projected on large screens behind each one.

Users, through a smaller interactive screen that acts as a control panel, have the ability to obtain information about each musical instrument individually. Specifically, an automatic rotation mechanism of the exhibit is activated, while at the same time it is subtly illuminated. In addition, users can see images, read descriptive texts, listen to audio excerpts or even watch videos about their construction. Thus, the exhibits “come alive” visually and audibly, offering a more experiential learning.
