Interactive Christmas Cake

Interactive Christmas Cake is a system that asks visitors to find the lucky coin by lifting the pieces of the cake.

Based on the traditional Greek custom of placing a coin within a Christmas cake so that one lucky person wins at the family dinner, the Interactive Christmas Cake is a system that asks visitors to find the lucky coin by lifting the pieces of the cake. Every time the pieces are back in place the coin moves around, so that the game can go on endlessly. The system was designed and developed within the framework of ICS-FORTH’s participation in the annual Christmas Castle celebrations, the focus of holiday celebrations in the City of Heraklion.
