Innovarch hosted at FORTH-ICS
Innovating Training Aims and Procedures for Public Archaeology (INNOVARCH) is a Strategic Partnerships for Higher Education action (Key Action: Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practice) in the framework of the Erasmus+ programme of the European Comission. INNOVARCH is an educational collaborative project aimed to design and assess experiences of theoretical and practical training for graduate and postgraduate students in the field of public archaeology, as well as to elaborate curriculum guidelines for introducing Public Archaeology in EHEA (Europan Higher Education Area) and training resources that are aimed to provide guidance for its gradual implementation into European higher education curricula.

The fourth intensive course of Innovarch Project was scheduled in Crete, Greece, in May 2017. The opening day of the course was held at FORTH-ICS and participants were welcomed with a presentation of AmI interactive systems. On the second day, participants visited the Heraklion Archaeological Museum and interacted with the technologies in vivo.
